Your family joins the work here at Dorsey Recovery. Addiction affects everyone in the home, not just one person. We meet with families to teach practical skills, answer hard questions, and rebuild trust. You get support too. We walk beside all of you.
How Families Take Part
Your first family session starts once your loved one settles into care. We schedule it early, then keep meeting throughout treatment. We teach families how addiction works as a disease, not a choice or a moral failing.
We coach you on setting boundaries. We help you spot enabling and step back from it. Many families first noticed warning signs of addiction long before treatment began.
Recovery does not end at discharge. We keep you involved through aftercare. Learn more about our family therapy sessions.
